Temporary Veterinary Technician The Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum is seeking a temporary, full-time or part-time Registered Veterinary Technician for an approximate time of mid-November 2006 through February 2007, (12 to 14 weeks). This position reports to the full time Staff Veterinarian. The hourly rate of pay will be $14.28 per hour. Position requires National Certification; have or be eligible for Oklahoma registration and must have a valid driver’s license. Exotic animal clinical experience preferred to assist veterinary department in all aspects of medical care of the Zoo’s collection, including: anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, hospital & equipment maintenance, computerized record maintenance, clinical pathology lab procedures, diagnostic procedures, treatments and necropsies.
