Registered Veterinary Technician The Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician. Successful candidate will join staff veterinarian, one other veterinary technician and a veterinary intern to work in a new $3 million zoo hospital opened in January 2006 with state of the art equipment (digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house hematology, chemistry, etc). The monthly rate of pay will be $2709-$2930. Position requires graduation of an AVMA Accredited Program and has or is eligible for Oklahoma Registration and National Certification. Applicant also must have a valid driver’s license. Exotic animal clinical experience preferred but not required to assist veterinary department in all aspects of medical care of the Zoo’s collection, including: anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, hospital & equipment maintenance, computerized record maintenance, clinical pathology, diagnostic procedures, treatments and necropsies.
